Private & Hybrid Cloud

The Cloud is not a "one size fits all" solution. Public Cloud is not the only choice; there are many types of deployment models, including private Cloud, community Cloud, and hybrid Cloud.

Edgewater Consulting helps clients determine the best Cloud deployment for their unique needs:

  • A private Cloud is one that wholly-owned by one company and may be hosted within a corporation's firewall on- or off-premise. This solution allows a company to maintain complete control while offloading management and technology costs to a third-party provider.
  • A hybrid Cloud consists of two or more Clouds that remain separate entities but work together. For example, a company might host a public website on a public Cloud while host internal data on a private Cloud. This allows the public site to adjust to traffic, while the internal data has the stable environment and privacy it needs.
